Women i,e  wives are called as a "better halves" or the "best halves" of men. And usually are the people behind their success. What men manage is just the outer world like his Job, salary, maintaining the relations with his relatives etc,. And remaining everything else is done, managed and planned by women from his food to his children to his parents, whole family's health to relatives to shopping to groceries to medicines to clothes, household work, sorting the problems to adjusting to situations  till her own job if any. Which is why women are called as a "back bone" of a family. And hence are adjusted very well by discharging their daily responsibilities, earning their self respect and becoming a Very Important Person for every one in the families where women are treated respectfully.

On the other hand, many families treat their daughter in laws, like their legal slaves. And want them to forget her complete identity and serve them for the rest of  her life, forgiving their passion and self respect. Even men want the same from their wives as they think that their family is right and she has to pay the cost of coming to their house in every manner by pleasing each member of his family, forgetting her self esteem. And the person who does it well is treated like an apple of their eyes. And the girls who are not well versed in these kind of politics, are treated miserably. Many laws and policies have been framed for safeguarding the rights of women. But, instead of modernising their thinking, the cases of domestic violence are rising drastically. 

Thus, there is an urgent need for girls to focus more on their career. Become equally qualified like men and focus on their career, try to make their own identity ,take herself to the place she deserves to be and then think of marriage. And even after marriage, continue working for her own dignity and peaceful life ahead. For this to happen, the whole society's thinking has to be changed and the parents have to come forward to educate the girl child, for her and their better future and peaceful life ahead.
